Tell
us about the history of bundu khan?
My father used to sell barbecued food in Aligarh, India.
He started the business in 1948, soon after the inception
of Pakistan by selling fresh barbecue from cart in the Denso
Hall area. Slowly but surely he embarked on a successful journey.
We are proud to have three branches in Karachi and one each
in Islamabad and Faisalabad. The Lahore bundu khan is a fake
set up making cash using our good name. We not only were the
first to introduce barbecue food to Karachiites but chicken
tikka as well, in the form that is popularly enjoyed today.
I remember how customers would queue up for hours for Tikkas
when we first launched them.
