Online blood donor service launhed

KARACHI: Pakistan's first online blood donor service, eTaleem.com, was launched here on Friday.
Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club, Faisal Anwar, Director Marketing, and Haleem Sharar, Coordinator of web site, said they would register honorary members wishing to donate blood with their contact numbers across the country.
"If someone needs blood, he will have to fill a form available at the website. We would introduce him to an honourary donor who will give him blood free of cost" they said.
They added they would expand this service out of the country also.
To a question, they said the online computers would be placed at a hospitals from where the needy persons would contact them.
