KARACHI, Feb 26: A website has recently been launched to provide medical help.
According to a press release, the website called www.health.etaleem.com, is dedicated to providing accurate and extensive information relating to health facilities, education, travel and other career resources to local and overseas Pakistanis.
The health portal includes doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, labs and diagnostic centres with a provision of online blood banking. The website contains data on more than 8,500 doctors, clinics etc, with their spiciality and locality.
Doctors can be located using their, name location, speciality, qualification and their affiliations with hospitals. Their attendence days and timings for consultations at various cities and hospitals is also provides. Doctors with internet facility can be contacted for appointment by e-mail.
On hospitals, the portal has information according to area, speciality along with the range of services and information offers such as special clinics, inpatient/outpatient, bed capacity, information about doctors on permanent panel and those on call, hospital profile in terms of in-house and out-source lab facilities.
