Baggage rules

Tourists are allowed to bring in:
• any amount of currency
• personal clothes and handbag
• medals, trophies or prizes
• jewelry not exceeding Rs. 100,000
• 1 watch and 1 traveling clock
• toilet goods in reasonable quantity
• spectacles and other physical aids
• 1 electric iron, 1 hot-plate and 1 electric shaver for men or a hair dryer for a lady tourist
• 1 camera and 5 rolls of films
• substandard movie camera with projector and 2 rolls of films
• one pair of binoculars
• portable musical instruments
• 1 portable tape-recorder
• 1 portable typewriter
• 1 portable computer
• invalid chair in use
• toys and pram for an accompanying child
• games or sporting requesters including sporting firearms and cartridges in reasonable quantity
• 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 1/2 lb. tobacco
• perfume and toilet water upto 1/2 pint
• confectionery and nonalcoholic beverages not exceeding Rs. 10,000 in value
• gifts and souvenirs in addition to above of value not exceeding Rs. 50,000.

Note: Carpets are not allowed to be taken out of Pakistan without export permit issued by the C.C.I. and Exports, Islamabad.
