Calendar Appointments and Events

Q: What are Appointments and Events?
A: Appointments are Calendar entries that you create (e.g., business meetings, birthday reminders, social plans, etc.).

Events are individual entries within the Event Directory (e.g., TV schedules, concerts, sports schedules) that you can add to your Calendar.

Q: Adding an Appointment to Your Calendar
A: To add an appointment to your Calendar:

From Day, Week, Month and Year view select "Add Event" from list box. You can click on the specfic date display in these views. What is Day, Week, Month, Year view ? . From the Day view, you can click on the hour in which your event starts.

. The Appointment page appears.
. Enter your appointment/event information.

Q: Editing and Deleting Appointments
A: You can edit and delete an existing appointment by viewing day in which it falls:

. Click on the appointment. The Appointment Details appears.
. Make your changes.
. To save your changes, click "Save". or click "Delete" to delete appointment.

Q: Setting Recurring or Repeating Appointments
A: Calendar can accommodate most types of regularly occurring appointments (monthly book club, weekly power yoga, yearly birthday etc.).

To set a recurring appointment:

1. You can use Event Reminders and Repeating options in Add Event or Edit Event pages. .
2. Enter your appointment details.
3. Click the radio button to make the event repeat. Otherwise, the appointment will default to Does Not Repeat.
4. Use the drop-down boxes to make your selection of how the event is to repeat (such as 'Every' 'Week' or 'Every' 'Day' until a specified date)
5. Click Save.

Note: The Repeating icon (a curved arrow) appears next to recurring appointments in your Calendar's Day view.

Q: Using the Event Lists
A: The Event List is the list of all your events appears in feautre. You can view your past events and all events as well. It is also customizeable to view your events in selected event type.
