the spring of her 58th year, Anita Chudnow of Milwaukee,
Wis., was working in her garden when a sudden and extreme
fatigue overcame her. She went in to lie down and didn't
have the energy to get up to make dinner several hours
later. Convinced that something was amiss, her family
